Pad printing is a process where artwork is printed onto a special emulsion film, which aided by the use of U.V exposure unit the image is transferred onto a metal polymer plate or Clichè.
Once the transfer is complete, the Clichè is then placed into the machine where ink is applied by metal rollers.
After the excess is scraped away the image is left behind in the plate, this image is then picked up by a silicone pad which is then transferred onto the item currently in the printer.
Using this process, you can print on virtually any material, from plastics, metals, glass, ceramics, fabrics etc.
The inks come in every colour of the rainbow.
Sublimation Printing is a process where artwork is printed in full colour onto a special release paper, which once dried is placed against a suitable sublimation blank, and under pressure and constant heat the image transfers onto the sublimation product.
Sublimation describes a process which a solid ( such as the artwork on the release paper ) converts using heat into a gas and then back into a solid, skipping the liquid stage completely.
Not all products are suitable substrates for sublimation, items such as ceramics and metals can only be used if they have a special polymer coating, which under heat acts like pores in human skin, they open while hot and allow the gas to penetrate, and then once cooled the pores close trapping the image forever.
Sublimation Printing can be used to produce items such as coffee mugs with a photograph on them, neoprene stubby holders, mouse mats, t-shirts etc
Embroidery is the most common form of custom branding in the market today; you are able to achieve vibrant, long lasting images onto a variety of products. Whether it is shirts, towels, hats, caps etc…
Embroidery has come a long way in recent years due the superior technology available to us today. Through the use of computers and computerized embroidery machines, there are a myriad of different results that you can expect with embroidery.
Some of these new effects are 3D Embroidery, using different layers and digitizing techniques we can create the 3D illusion with your embroidered design. Another effect is textured, making the most out of today’s technology, we can add different textures to your embroidered design, for example, let’s say that your logo/design has rope pictured in it, using the latest in digitizing techniques, we can produce a stitch out which resembles the look and feel of rope, without affecting the overall cost of your embroidery, but most importantly it enhances your whole design.
Stand out from the crowd, don’t just get the normal embroidery done for your items, ask us about our 3D or Textured embroidery today. We guarantee that the results speak for themselves…
Signs have come a long way in recent years, gone are the days where everything was hand painted, and the process took sometimes days to complete.
Today the industry has changed dramatically, now it is all done by machine, and what once took days can be produced in hours.
The main things to consider when getting a quote for a sign are:
These days, you can get a vinyl suitable for any situation, they all have different manufacturing techniques which gives them different durability levels in our harsh climate.
The biggest misunderstanding today is that promotional items are just cheap giveaways to people that you probably won’t see again.
That isn’t the case, with careful consideration to your business and the market you want to reach, we can assist you in developing a strategy to not only bring new customers but keep the old ones coming back time and time again.
For example; if you were a computer shop that custom built PC’s for your customers, there is no need to give them a pen with your name and phone number on it, as they will probably lose it or forget that they had it. A better way is for that computer shop to get there logo and contact details pad printed onto items such as the keyboard or the mouse, that way not only will they not lose the item but that branding will be there for them to see at all times so they will never forget who you are and how to contact you.
Promotional products need to be tailored to every business individually, to make your hard earned money work smarter not harder!
Invision Signs & Designs is a family owned and run printing business. We guarantee that our service is second to none and you will be glad you did business with us.
